New Zealand: Kaikoura - Whale watch in Kaikoura

I know, i'm sorry ok?

I know been a while i'm not update any, just believe or not, i'm busy in NZ, e-ve-ry-day.

Alright i went to Kaikoura couple of weeks, for crayfish and whale!

This is the first time i watch whale, the biggest fish in the world by myself! How excited! Of course not entire whale but its good enough to have such experience to get so close with whale.

Kaikoura have only one whale watch company, the whole trip is bout 3 hours, cost me $145, except whale you got the chance to watch dolphin too! Like i did.

Early in the morning by 7, Marcus aka the daddy send Emily and I to the port, not very good weather and the boat is kind of swing, but never make us feel sick, because we were so close with whale!

Searching for the whale for an hour and finally the captain found whale, that's biggest kind of whale called Blue Whale, all of us running out and capture the scene of whale breathing, and of course, the most beautiful whale tail scene!

This is the way the captain attract whale.

Sorry for Xiao P because he is not a DSLR, but he did try very hard to get the best scene! Like below!

And on the way back to the port, we meet a big group of dolphin!

I'm sorry that i forget i can take video instead of photo, and i fail to capture the scene when dolphin jump up the water. But its very joyful when saw a big group of dolphin jumping and swimming in the sea :D

New Zealand: Hvelock - Mussel Pot in Havelock

Havelock, a small town in between of Motueka and Blenhiem, the must pass by town to go to Blenhiem.

This is an absolutely small town, just one street, with a small port, the first and only thing that attract my attention is the name of the place, Havelock, sound funny.

Well, quick stop in this town, have a walk in the port, and have lunch in the famous mussel restaurant, mussel is the famous dishes in this place.

I heart this little restaurant, great decoration and environment, fresh mussel but a little pricy.

Its a good choice if you wanna go somewhere to have a fine meal.

Alright i gonna go, time to torture my fingers aka work =(

New Zealand: Blenhiem - Malaysian gathering in Blenhiem

Alright i have dine in Havelock, Kaikuora trip and soon i have Nelson Lakes National Park trip to update, i know i delay alot, but believe it or not, i have a lot of things to do recently, free lancer work and friend visit (almost everyday!), i have too little my own time to update my blog.

Alright as i promised, this is the Malaysian gathering held in Blenheim, the town away from Motueka like 3 hours.

I was invited by a friend, who is one of the group member of malaysian in NZ, thinking of i never visit blenheim (i just passby), so i said yes for the invitation, and invite Dino and Alice together, as they wanna visit a old friend of them in Blenheim as well.

Shelly is friend of Dino and Alice, she is a PR and living here for few years here, very nice person and let us stay at her place for a night, and she decided to join the gathering too!

The party in western country is different with eastern country, the organizer just be the contact person and provide the space of party, food and drink organize by everyone who is coming to the party.

Everyone bring Malaysia foods like nasi lemak, roti canai, curry, fried rice noodle, except me, i brought pizza (hey i got this invitation the day before the party!).

Had great time and get to know alot of friends in the party!

The next day, Dino and Alice brought me to the famous bay of Blenheim, Monkey Bay and White Sand Bay, famous with CRAYFISH and ABALONE!

But bad weather that day, we only stand by the beach and watching those professional fisherman to catch crayfish, abalone and white bait.

But for me, the best view of Blenheim ain't the bays, but the vineyard. Blenheim is famous with the vineyard, produce a lot of grapes and wines every year, and this is the reason why they need a lot of human resource in harvesting the grapes, many backpackers who is holding holiday working visa are staying in Blenheim, plenty of job opportunity

We decided to treat Shelly for lunch for her kindness.
