So yea, no photo.
But its alright, this will be the introduction post of my Okinawa + Tokyo trip in last July.
Everyone can fly now and AAX has more than one flight per day to and from Tokyo airports (yea two airports now RIGHT AFTER i came back from the trip), so travelling to Japan is not expensive at all compare to 10 or 20 years back.
Well Japan is never my destination, but John does. We saved up big amount of money (hey from not travelling to any where for seven months!) for my re-visit trip to NZ but the air ticket itself already cost us RM4000.
We gave up the plan and decided to spend the money in Japan, the country which both of us have never been.
There our trip to Japan was confirmed.
I am never a city lifestyle lover but again, John does. So we bought our return tickets to Haneda (only choice as in 1H2014) plus return tickets to Okinawa from Haneda airport, Tokyo.
There our Okinawa + Tokyo was confirmed.
It was not easy at all the journey from Haneda to Narita airport (domestic airport) especially during midnight. The two airports are not close to each other at all and you have only limited transportation choice during midnight transit.
Well i will skip that until next post. Let's go straight to the point, the budget.
10 days + two return tickets (AAX and Jetstar) + car rental for 3 days (including petrol, tolls, insurance and parking) + 9 nights accommodation (hotel and apartment) + local transportation (including JR train ride) + admission fees + day trip to Mt. Fuji + EAT LIKE HELL..
That only cost us RM4500 to RM5000 per person.
I kid you not, and i was surprised too.
You will not be surprise if you spend more in Indonesia than Japan on food.
(I just came back from trip to Bandung, Indonesia and almost every single one i met there were trying to con your money, eg: 2 fried chicken rice cost us RM120 wtf. I still cant get over from the negative experiences i had encountered in Indonesia)
Oh yea if you are waiting, below is my travel itinerary. (Beware, its sibeh long! If you are lazy to read the whole thing, buy me drink and let me explain to you, hehe)
Again, this is for reference only, i changed it based on my mood. Hahaha.
oh before that, you will see some Chinese words in my itinerary, that are usually some shop / place name that are difficult to read when translated into English. Most of the highway signboard has Chinese words so it is easier if you can read Chinese when travelling in Japan.
