New Zealand: Maketu - Meet boar in Maketu

My bad, accidentally skip the day trip to Maketu.

Well i suppose to look for a Sunday market in Maketu, the town nearby where i were staying, like half hour driving distance, famous with the seaside and pie, people were saying the best pie in NZ is Maketu smoked fish pie, but i not even try once, i just couldn't find the place.

I been Maketu once, when 3 of us first arrived in Te Puke and looking for kiwi packhouse for job, we made wrong turn and eventually came to Maketu, the impression of this small little town was peacefully and silent, but i don't like the atmosphere, yea it is quiet but too much for me, Maketu just not my place.

For the 2nd time to visit Maketu because of Emily told me once that there are Sunday market in the town, so in one Sunday that the rest of the housemates were visiting New Plymouth but not me and Hoe, i invited Hoe to go along with me.

Someone told me before that if you manage to hang your pair of shoe on the wire, your dream may come true, and this is practicable in NZ too.

Obviously you cant find any market photos above, because i couldn't find the market! I been go round and round of the town but found nothing except the disgusting roar skin and beautiful walkway, and a grumpy seaside.

But anyway i had good time, I just love to travel alone, or most another friend that i can really relax and talk with, and this became the last outing of Hoe and I before he leave us to Manukau to look for a new job.

And since we couldn't find any interesting place to visit in Maketu, there we went to Tauranga to look for some Chinese dishes for the steamboat dinner at the night!

Hoe and i love eat and we wanted to make a steamboat dinner since ages, just we have too many housemate and our cooking equipments wasn't allow to serve so many people, so this time for being selfish, we had the steamboat just between me and Hoe.

Can you believe this is only for 2 person?

Its feel so good to just eat and watching movie in the night, i mean i love traveling but i do enjoy silent night with a lot of good food and just chill at home, especially in the cold winter night like this.

And now Williem is in the south island while Hoe is in Manukau, i gonna miss you guys so much, a pleasure to get to know you guys in Hairy Berry and eventually staying under the same roof, farewell for you guys for 2 times and i do hope it doesn't mean since that we were only hi bye friend but friend that could keep contact always and forever.
