New Zealand: The South Island - Papatowai, Purakaunui Falls and Slope Point

Shit happened, but blog must go on.

What is the shit about, i will never ever want to recall again. For my reader who read both my travel and chinese blog, just to inform you guys my chinese blog will be ignored by me for a while, i just don't feel like go into my chinese blog and that actually make me recall everything again.

But this is just for a short period, i won't never let myself be upset for some fucker and shit that long time, not worthy.

Alright, back to my trip in NZ.

I know backpacking is relax, has no plan no destination no nothing, but i cant do that because i have time limited, so i planned a rough plan ahead, just to make sure i been every places i wanna be there, and done everything i wanna do before i left the country.

But i would say, i really regret to allocated such a little time for my down south part trip of south island, i shouldn't took other advice that just planned for 2 weeks time, that might be too much for the others, but not me.

But heck anyway no help for regretting now. Just for those who plan to backpacking in NZ, or somewhere else, you can seek for advice but just plan according to your wish, nothing to worry about, by fact backpacking is plan-less travel, you should just bare with everything that happen in your journey.

Just like me, plan to overnight in Dunedin after Oamaru but ended up stop in a small little town call Papatowai, day turned dark and decided just set up the camp and overnight beside the beach.

I was so freaking tired after long drive from Oamaru, set the tent up, get some instant food as dinner and fall asleep in the tent.

That time is early summer time, weather is getting warm but night still cold, i'm kind of alert person and i didn't sleep too well in that night, woke up in the early morning and go for walk by the beach nearby.

And the sunrise of the day has amazed me.

See, this is the beautiful part of backpacking, you might run out from your plan and missed something, but you will never know you will get something even more beautiful. I will never forgot the beautiful sunrise in Papatowai beach, the tiny little town that no one of the travel book would bother to mention about, and heck this is much more beautiful than some sunrise hotspot.

And i forgot to mention in advance, this is a campur blog, i just found out 3 folders that contented only some photos of some places that i've been, those are the points that i stopped just for a while yet there are all beautiful and i would really love to share. So i make this campur blog.

I didn't went to all 3 places in the same day, just if my memory served me right. I cant remember when did i go to all these places, most of the places weren't in my rough plan, drove pass and just turned in to have a look, and all turned up a surprise and became my beautiful memories in my journey

Like Purakaunui Falls.

I was using the auto mode for the first 2 photos of the falls, day light was not strong enough and quick shutter speed make the falls look dumb.

Next 2 photos was using slowly shutter speed and higher ISO, turned up to my best photos collection. Proud with my little Xiao P! Who the heck say SLR cannot produces good photo like DSLR?!

By the way, i was thinking to upgrade my photography gadget, got my first formal DSLR and trained up my photography skill, Xiao P is good for beginner like me, but while time passed and skill improved, Xiao P just slightly cannot satisfied my demand on the photos. Well the falls photo inspired to thought of that la, like if my Xiao P has higher pixel and resolution, more sensitive focus scene that would be great.

But fuck it i spent most of my saving in the horrible trip last week, i should invest in camera or better go to other country for backpacking, lets say, Nepal! Damn it.

Alright forget it.

The 3rd place is Slope Point, the southern most point of south island of New Zealand.

Well this is not an attraction that traveler or backpacker would go, because the way to get to Slope Point is absolutely horrible and difficult, go up and down in the mountains and there have only absolutely animals only like sheep and cows, but no human, except you yourself.

But i just felt to go to this place, i don't know why, probably i've been the eastern-most place in the world (East Cape in North Island, check my preview blog), and i goin to missed the northern-most point and western-most point because of i have no way to get to there. So for this southern-most i just feel like i must be there.

And guess what, the view in Slope Point has amazed me, like totally.

Again i sighed on my Xiao P capacity in photo taking, i'm not satisfied with the resolution and exposure, after edited and the color and lighting stuff still not turning close with what i demanding. Well this is because the photo resolution and pixel itself, nothing much can be done. And this is the most that Xiao P can produce =(..

Well whatever, i guess will keep Xiao P for a while still, till i got a permanent job for saving up money to go to Nepal, i will only thought of getting a DSLR, or better, if surprisingly my book do earn money (yea never thought of earning money to publish a book, just to make my dream comes true), i can get my DSLR quicker!

Will try to rush up all my trips in this week. Believe or not i have tons of things to do, and i have so little time to sleep right now even thought i'm jobless. So fuck yea, worthless to spare my time and my energy for shit.

Cheers.

New Zealand: Dunedin - The Steepest Street in the World, Baldwin Street

First of all, Happy new year.

Secondly, i'm sorry.

Sorry for leaving my blog for 2 whole weeks (even longer!). Well i was in HangZhou, China, and i just set myself free from internet, i cant believe i didn't go online for 2 whole weeks in the past, i always thought i;m kind of person who cannot live without internet, even i was in NZ i insist to look for place with internet connection too!

Alright stop bullshitting.

I still have my NZ trip to update, my Singapore trip, and my latest HangZhou trip to update.

Straight to the point.

Dunedin.

This is the city i was so looking forward in my down south part trip. But ended up with great disappointment.

I hate crowded city, and Dunedin is totally out of my expectation, it is a crowded city that i hate the most.

So just one night i stayed. And i left in the next morning.

The only interesting place i had visited in Dunedin is the world steepest street. Most of the photos in this blog are from this street.

Why interesting? Just a street what.

None of your business, as long as i feel it is interesting. You can leave it or take it.

WAIT A MINUTE!!!

I was scrolling down to the bottom of the photos 3 seconds just now and i found i uploading wrong photos!

Fuck that i upload the photos without editing and my name!

Fuck it.

And i don't give a damn. I lazy.

Next one, i have no idea yet.

I have too many thing to do and hell i having period. I'm not in good mood so don't mess with me.
