Introduction of Xiao P

Played with Xiao P last weekend. I love his panorama feature, this is fantastic!

Cookie and Pudding as my model. :P

I shaked when Pudding sniffed the lens, but i kind of love this photo as well.

I'm the beginner of SLR camera, i have been doing research on which SLR camera suit me the best and within my budget. So finally i ended up with Xiao P instead of Canon and Nikon or Lumix, although lot of people were saying that these brands are better.
Of course i dont deny that Canon or Nikon has better quality, but its out of my budget and for beginner like me, i don't know if i really interested in photography or just want to have a try.

Compare with compact camera and DSLR, i choose the middle range, which is SLR camera. I dislike compact because it was like toy, i always make myself into trouble or complicated situation (yes this is me), i would think that set or control a cameara manually let me feel i really "play" with it. So as what i feel on car driving, i always go for manual instead of auto.

ok too far.

I brough Xiao P with RM1400, including 8G SD card, which could store 7000 photos. I love Xiao P because it in both manual and auto mode (of course manual mode is more than auto la). So these few days i was learning on how to set the lighting, ISO, flash, shutter speed, shaking this and that, and i set all the ISO, shutter speed thingy by my own, yealar i know some photo is slightly dark but hey, i'm a beginner.

I have no qualify to give Xiao P a review, so here i give you guys the spec of Xiao P. And if you're just a beginner, go to something cheap, and easy before you enter to professional level.

Oh yea, another thing, Xiao P is powered by 4 AA batteries.

At first, this is the only reason make me dont feel want to buy Xiao P, but after research i found some SLR camera do use AAbatteries, of course pro and con are there la, but after read all the review from the user of Xiao P, they found the features and all these are actually better than Nikon P90, or Canon SX20, which are the same range of camera with Xiao P.

So, Xiao P is with me now :D.

Welcome you, Xiao P.

Summary: Olympus's SP-590UZ does a good job of delivering some of the advantages of a larger SLR camera without an interchangeable lens system.
