New Zealand: Picton - My first stop of South Island

After 5 months + living in north island, i decided to move to south island, just use 5 minutes to made the decision, and then i quit kiwi fruit, book ticket and pack my backpack, travel to Wellington for 2 days, and move to south.

There are 2 ways to go to the south, ferry or flight, if you have got a car you can only go by ferry, if you're travel without a car flight is a good choice, it is cheap.

But since i go from Wellington, and my first stop is Nelson, i decided to go by ferry, everyone told me that the scene is fantastic and i cant miss that.

2 companies, Interisland or Bluebridge. Bluebridge offer cheaper price yet the ferry is old and the scene is not nice as Interisland.

But heck i bit regret to take Interisland, because its 10 dollar different but not 3 dollar different as what i check from internet. So 10 dollar gone =(.

Xiao P and I weren't professional of photography, so don't expect you can see the nice scenes, all the beautiful scenes are in my mind and i couldn't share to you guys.

Alright the whole trip took us bout 3 hours, the stop is Picton.

I booked the bus of 6pm from Picton to Nelson, i have like half day in Picton but well, this small town have nothing much to explore, i spend most of the time in the cafe of the ferry stop because of heavy rain.

Once i saw the beautiful sunshine i run out for a short walk in Picton.

Picton is a beautiful town by sea, not big and quiet, i love the feeling when walk by the seaside and seeing the north island in the other side.

I'm in South, finally, as i wish =)

I'm fine reader, travel alone isn't hard as you though, i can do this, and you can do this, too.

Gambateh everyone!
